My interest in photography started in the early 80’s with my mother’s 110 camera…I think it was made by kodak…but I soon grew tired of getting pictures back that I didn’t think were clear enough. So, for my birthday in 1985, I begged for a canon “snappy S”…my first 35mm. I was in a new world…until I grew tired of off centered pictures that didn’t look like what I was trying to capture through the viewfinder. A summer job provided me with enough $ to purchase a Minolta X-370, and soon I was enjoying my first SLR. It wasn’t long before I noticed that most professionals and folks that I considered to be good photographers always shot Nikon…So since the mid-90’s, I’ve been Nikon all the way. I was dragged kicking and screaming into the digital world a couple years ago, and though I am a slow learner, I really like the flexibility of digital. And its nice to shoot 500 pics before having to ‘reload’.
